Piero Bruni
Inventor & Cofounder
Dr. Piero Giovanni Bruni works today as a Medical Specialist at the General Surgery Unit and at the High Specialization Research Center on Abdominal Wall Pathology and Restorative Surgery of Abdominal Hernias at the Istituto Clinico Sant'Ambrogio in Milan ( Milan Hernia Center).
Dr. Bruni completed his training with a Master's degree in Oncological Surgery at the Policlinico San Marco di Zingonia (BG) and with a PhD in Biotechnology and Surgical Techniques at the University of Insubria in Varese.
In addition, he worked as a Volunteer Doctor at the Mutoyi Mission Hospitals in Burundi and Goundi Mission in Chad, Africa.

Giampiero Campanelli
Cofounder
Professor Giampiero Campanelli is Full Professor of Surgery at the University of Insubria and Head of the General Surgery Unit of the Day & Week Surgery section of the IRCCS Galeazzi Hospital / Sant'Ambrogio and collaborates with Palazzo della Salute (Wellness Clinic) in Milan.
He is Director of the Hernia Center in Milan (first Highly Specialized University Research Center on Abdominal Wall Pathologies and Restorative Surgery), and Editor-in-Chief of the international scientific journal "HERNIA" published by Springer Nature. With more than 10,000 procedures performed, several awards and professional recognitions, Prof. Giampiero Campanelli has extensive international experience as a specialist surgeon, with 354 scientific publications to his credit and participation as a speaker or live surgery at 614 national and international conferences.

Marta Cavalli
Cofounder
Dr. Marta Cavalli is an assistant at the Operating Unit of General Surgery - Day & Week Surgery section of the IRCCS Galeazzi Hospital / Sant'Ambrogio and collaborates with Palazzo della Salute (Wellness Clinic) in Milan.
After obtaining specialization in General Surgery at the University of Insubria, in 2017 he obtained the PhD in Basic and Applied Biomedical Sciences at the University of Catania. With an experience at the Breast Surgery Unit of the European Institute of Oncology (IEO), is now Assistant to the General Surgery Unit at the Hernia Center of Milan (High Specialization Research Center on Abdominal Wall Pathology and Abdominal Hernia Repair Surgery) of the Sant'Ambrogio Clinical Institute.
Since 2017, she is appointed as fixed-term researcher at the University of Insubria, in General Surgery.
Author and co-author of 55 scientific papers and 18 chapters published in national and international journals and author of 4 posters, she has participated in 40 national and international conferences, of which 14 as a speaker and in 6 national and international training internships.

Kingsley Borello
Business Development Director
Kingsley A. Borello, currently leading an international business development company, BPC Global, served as senior manager and consultant in several entrepreneurial ventures, in North America, Europe, Africa and South East Asia. After graduation, he worked as auditing consultant, bank officer, international sales director and senior business consultant in companies and organizations. He has been appointed by some international corporate customers as board director and trustee of foreign investors. While his hometown is Milan, Italy, he lived in his career years in Texas, in Singapore and he spent extensive periods in London, Madrid, Casablanca, New York, Washington DC, and he travelled around the globe.
His academic background focuses on entrepreneurial planning, international marketing and corporate development. Author of several books, articles and papers published in the field of business planning and corporate strategy, he lecturers on these topics at Italian and International Universities and Business Schools.
